Amazing aerial view from the Talasnal Schist Village.
Talasnal has been the most recognizable of Lousã's Schist Villages, and provides great visibility and charisma to the 27 villages hidden bwetween the Lousã and Açor mountain ranges. Given its size and layout , but also because of its many details, this is a very seductive and amazing place.
Here is an amazing video, from the "Portugal Visto do Céu" Project, dedicated to creating amazing aerial views in Portugal, that captures the pitoresque spirit of Talasnal and the lush vegetation in the Lousã mountain range, where deer, wild boar and many other species live.
Lousã is a great place to ride, as it offers amazing mountain bike trails and car-free roads. Take a look at our cycling hollidays in Coimbra, Lousã and the Schist villages or our Special Edition road cycling weekend for the Skyroad Granfondo!
