BIKE TOURS IN PORTUGAL FOR INTERMEDIATE RIDERS

Getting to know a bit more of Lisbon’s silver coast on two wheels with the LLR team was unforgettable. They made all the difference improving my whole experience.

We had the experience of a lifetime with our tour guides on our 6 day bike tour around the Minho Valley. We would 100% recommend Live Love Ride for a bike tour in Portugal, for the following reasons: 1. The bicycles (both e-bikes and traditional) were very high quality and were maintained perfectly so there were no mechanical issues. 2. The restaurants and accommodation chosen are all first class. The pool and cold drinks at the end of a warm day’s riding were most welcome! 3. By keeping the rider size to a small number (we had 12), the camaraderie and rapport of the group was allowed to develop. We made very strong connections with our group. 4. Most of all, the care and consideration of our tour guides was exceptional. They worked tirelessly to make sure everything was right and everyone was happy. No request was too great and they were mindful and accommodating of the different skill levels in the riding group.

We just finished a fabulous biking trip in northern Portugal with Live Love Ride. Over five days we cycled (with E-bikes, although some in our group chose regular bikes) southwest along the Lima River to the Atlantic coast, then northwest along the Minho River. We had two guides from LLR, Sergio and Joaquim who were great–both with details, logistics and with providing good company. We went with friends from the US we’ve known for years and then had the good fortune to have in our cycling group 3 from Australia and a family of 5 from South Africa. We all got on tremendously well, rode as one group and had most of meals together. Meals–in hotels and local restaurants ranged from very good to excellent. And hotels, chosen by LLR were also very good. My wife and I moved to Lisbon a year ago and had not traveled this far north in Portugal until now and we love it. Hoping we return soon and also do another bike tour in Portugal with LLR.
