Road cycling is a great way to get to travel in Portugal. For intermmediate to experienced riders, this region offers a variety of the best climbs, descents and roads the country has to offer. Our Douro bike tour is a perfect choice for seasoned cyclists that want to discover this UNESCO world heritage site, riding from vineyard to vineyard and relaxing in charming hotels.
We tried to capture the magic of what road cycling in the Douro looks like on the video below. We have tried and failed, for no video can capture the pleasure we have from riding in the region - but we had a great time during the bike tour in which it was shot! Hope you enjoy!
