All Bike Types in Portugal

We rode for 5 days in the Azores in a private group of 4. A van was following us at all times with food and drinks and a guide was biking with us, coaching us on the hard bits of the tour. We saw a lot of beautiful landscape on the Sao Miguel island of the Azores. The guides were very professional, were listening to our needs and adapted the tour to make it best enjoyable for us. Bikes were of excellent quality and well maintained. I strongly recommend this Azores bike tour.

10 friends from AK traveled to Portugal to take a break from all the responsibilities of marriage, motherhood and work for 10 days. Not sure if Live Love Ride knew what they were getting themselves into but they took on the challenge. Our guides Ricardo and Rodrigo provided the perfect vacation for us. Beautiful restaurants, challenging but not demoralizing biking and hiking, Portuguese cultural experiences, boat rides, port and wine tastings and the list goes on. I’m excited to bring my family back for a visit and I have no doubt Ricardo and Rodrigo will provide the same quality of care and memory making opportunities that we all experienced in this trip. We have about 8 couples that routinely do bike tours in Europe. So far this was the best. The majority of us did e-bike, some for the first time, and it was a great experience. Andre, Joaquin, Oscar were fantastic bike guides. Daniel is the wizard behind the screen so to speak, herding all of us, finding restaurants, supporting our ride, and providing historical insight. Some of us became a bit weary of all of the cod/meat. If I did the trip again, I would order more soup/salad & if I ordered a meat dish, I would share. A great add-on would be a visit to a place where olives are processed. They do have a less physically aggressive family trip along the Douro. I would like to return for that to have more time to explore on my own. I highly recommend this bike tour company in Portugal.
