All Bike Types in Portugal

We have had a great experience in preparing the our self-guided bike tour in Portugal. The LLR team was very responsive and flexible in building a tour according to our demands. We didn’t take the standard 6-days package: we added a few resting days to the 6-days cycling and we requested for selected lodging. The tour itself was also great, thanks to it being well prepared by the team, the nice weather and the warm and hospitable portugese people (!). The time of the year was well choosen – we didn’t have the summer heat – which made it a very nice encounter with the Alentejo and the Algarve. After more than 30 years, it was a lovely reencounter with Portugal and the Portugese people.

This being our second bike tour in Portugal with LLR first being the Douro Valley and presently finished the Azores bike tour , I can only say “awesome “ both bicycle trips over exceeded our expectations. Our guide extraordinaire, Alberto Botelho was outstanding in providing support and guidance for us , being the only two people on the ride he was able to adapt the ride to better enhance the tour with added spots and experienced information only a local resident would know! He provided excellent protection on the narrow roads and we always felt safe.He provided excellent high end , well maintained cycles for the ride which enhanced the tour. Would highly recommend this company on any of their rides they are dedicated to customer service and safe rides! Look forward to our next Portugal bike tour with LLR bike tour!

10 friends from AK traveled to Portugal to take a break from all the responsibilities of marriage, motherhood and work for 10 days. Not sure if Live Love Ride knew what they were getting themselves into but they took on the challenge. Our guides Ricardo and Rodrigo provided the perfect vacation for us. Beautiful restaurants, challenging but not demoralizing biking and hiking, Portuguese cultural experiences, boat rides, port and wine tastings and the list goes on. I’m excited to bring my family back for a visit and I have no doubt Ricardo and Rodrigo will provide the same quality of care and memory making opportunities that we all experienced in this trip.
