All Bike Types in Portugal

I had a wonderful bike tour in the Douro Valley area in October in a guided cycling group. The area is very scenic and the biking was fantastic. This is not an easy trip for most cyclists and training is seriously advisable or take another less challenging tour that Portugal Bike Tours offers. The hotel accommodations were very good and the restaurants for lunches and dinner our guides picked out – simply awesome. I did not expect the food to be that good on this trip and it exceeded all expectations. Rodrigo and Luiz were fantastic guides – friendly, attentive and just a pleasure to be with and around. We have just finished a 5 day bike tour in Portugal’s Silver Coast with LiveLoveRide. The overall experience was excellent. The whole thing was very professionally organized while the team kept a nice personal touch, for example preparing alternate routes when we had a weather enforced day off the bikes. Really handy as it made it easy to find a great place to eat after a long day in the saddle. A great option for riding in Spain or Portugal.
