Every Live Love Ride Premium tour includes two guides, regardless of the size of your group.
One guide rides with you, bringing local cycling knowledge directly onto the road. They can help with pacing and navigation while sharing their knowledge of the landscapes and places you are cycling through.
At the same time, a second guide accompanies the journey from the support vehicle. They meet the group at different points along the route, provide hydration and mechanical assistance, coordinate luggage and transfers and take care of the logistics happening around the ride.
This combination also gives us greater flexibility when riders within the same group have different abilities or simply want to ride at different speeds. With a guide on the bike, another in the support vehicle and e-bike options on many itineraries, everyone can enjoy the same journey without having to ride every kilometre together.
On a Premium tour, the journey doesn’t finish when you get off the bike.
We select accommodation not only for comfort, but because it adds something to the destination. Depending on the region, that might mean staying at a wine estate overlooking the Douro, a historic property in the Alentejo or a carefully selected hotel overlooking the Atlantic.
Food and wine are also an important part of these journeys. Selected meals, winery visits, tastings and other gastronomic experiences are incorporated into the itinerary according to the character of each destination.
We also include cultural and local experiences where they genuinely improve the journey, whether that means meeting a wine producer, visiting an important historic site or discovering a side of the region that cannot be experienced from the saddle alone.

Our Premium journeys bring together years of cycling experience with the relationships we have developed throughout Portugal. We scout our routes, operate our own bicycle fleet and work directly with guides, hotels, restaurants, wineries and local partners in the destinations where we ride.
With our own teams, guides and bike stations in Porto, Lisbon and the Algarve, we manage our tours locally. That gives us the ability to respond while the journey is happening rather than relying entirely on third parties to solve problems from a distance.
